@joseph please provide an update, it has been 5.5 months since this issue was first raised. @miguel @maynor
Update to the latest version and try again!
Hi Miguel. I still cannot hit the button on the side to answer. It is still activating Teams as Vitxi is not a recognised softphone for Yealink. We really need to get this approved.
Hello!
The latest version of VitXi is now available! Check out the details in the post below: VitXi 4.6.0 β Major Release: Inboxes, WhatsApp/SMS, High-Performance Mode & More!
Tested Headsets: HID Headset Integration with VitXi WebRTC
Best regards,
@maynor When I go into the PBX, I do not have any updates available?

Please make sure to click Check Online.
I also recommend verifying that the headset is not being used by another application (for example, Microsoft Teams). Additionally, ensure that Yealink USB Connect is installed and properly configured.
Remember to configure the HID settings in VitXi by navigating to User Settings > HID Integration > Select the headset. After updating the settings, reload the app using Ctrl + F5.
Hi Maynor. That is the problem, a lot of users need to have Microsoft Teams logged in. So that is not possible. And as VitXi is not a supported softphone, you cannot override Teams and choose VitXi within Yealink USB connect as it is not in the list to choose from.
Also, we have now updated and loving some of the upgrades!
Itβs not strictly necessary to avoid using Teams. However, in internal tests, having the headset selected in multiple apps could cause unexpected behaviors. That said, you can still carry out the necessary tests and provide feedback on the results.
Thank you very much for your positive comments about the latest version; any suggestions are always welcome!
We have tested all we could. Chosen computer speakers for Teams and not the Yealink headset, but the only way for the Yealink headset to not work for Teams is to log out.
The only real solution for this is to become a supported softphone with Yealink. With Yealink being one of the biggest IP handset/headset brands, it would only be an asset for Vital to be accredited. Can this be looked at.
Sure thing! Our team will work on it, since most functions with the Yealink headset are already supported. Could you test if the base rings and if actions like mute/unmute are working?
