Resize partition without data loss?

Hello there,
is there any way o resize the partition size without losing data? My disk size is 40 GB but vitalPBX uses only 20 GB and comes to the limits.
What would be the best way to resize the partition?

The easiest way is to live boot CentOS and use the gparted tool. It gives you a nice GUI.
