You can hear the ring tone in your headset or computer speaker, but there is no pop up on screen when there is a call coming in. This causes a delay in answering fumbling around to find app or tab.
Is there any way to have the notification appear on top for easy pick up?

Hi Maynor, thank you for your reply. And yes, I have checked all settings on the VitXi platform and within the computer notifications settings. Everything is set but I get no pop up at all. I have find the tab/app and open VitXi to answer the call.

Another thing I am finding frustrating is as well as not getting a screen pop for an incoming call, I get no notifications that a chat message has come through. We previously used MSTeams for chat, and that would do a screen pop and show that there was a message waiting. Both VitXi and Teams have a message waiting but VitXi shows nothing and Teams shows me.

That’s strange. Even when there are no active calls, do you not receive any desktop notifications at all? Do you also not see any notifications for new messages?
Regarding the functionality of “app badges and/or notification counter,” we will conduct tests on our development servers.
Could you also let us know which browser you are using?

Hi Maynor, we are using Google Chrome and using both the browser and the app, neither show notifications. We get no notifications of a call coming in or a message coming in. If the app is open we see it. If you have the headset on or speaker on, you can hear it, but no pop up.
It means missing calls is very easy and unless you constantly check the chat, missing chat messages is even easily. So we really need these to work or this product will be a hindrance not a help to our customers.
In case it’s useful for you we needed an app badge and found this pretty simple to implement.

Hi Eli, thank you. Is this on a per device install. We are a telco so we need the solution to be part of the Vital Product, we cannot install for every user on their device. Please advise.
This would be for VitalPBX developers to include in Vitxi. It’s a badge sytem supported by Chromium browsers for PWAs like Vitxi.

If you’re using VitalPBX 4.5, you can go ahead and update VitXi to the latest version: 4.5.0-4.
