Feature request Ring group missed call email

Hi All

I think a great feature would be missed call email for ring groups

So if I department misses a call it should send an email

If you have a license, like starter license, this is already possible.

Which settings should I set if a call is missed on a ring group ?

I don’t see it in ring group settings

You can only enable missed call notification for extensions, there is a request under Wish List to add more options.

Missed call notification before extension ringed

The missed call notification by email works perfectly if the extension in a queue already ringed. This is the excepted behaviour because this option is connected to the extension. But the notification doesn’t work if the caller hang up before s/he reach any extension (for example during announcement speech in a queue). It is a real life scenario which means this call also have to be handled as missed call. Because of this we recognize the missed call only if we check the CDR report. It would …

Custom Context would also be possible if you set it as final destination.
This way you can send email on missed call on Ring group.
