Hi,
We have several headsets not working properly with VitXi. The main issue is with the answer/end call button. Either the button answers the call but doesn’t hang up, or, more often than not, it doesn’t answer and end the call at all.
The headsets we’ve encountered this problem are:
Plantronics CS540, Jabra Engage 65, Poly Voyager 4245 Office, Poly Voyager Focus UC, Jabra Evolve 65 (with Jabra Link 370), Jabra Engage 65 SE, and Jabra Evolve2 55 (with Jabra Link 390).
Any help on this would be wonderful, we really need the integration to work for a large client base. This is holding us back from bringing more clients on our platform. Is there more information we could provide to get things going? I want to help with integration if possible.
Please upgrade to the latest version of VitXi (4.6.0-3):
This release includes several improvements to HID integration. We recently added Yealink SDK support and enhanced compatibility with Poly, Plantronics, and Jabra headsets. You can find the list of tested headsets here:
We are also currently implementing the official Jabra SDK, which will provide full compatibility with all Jabra headsets that support HID functionality.
We are already on 4.6.0-3, unfortunately the Jabra Engage 65 SE is currently only working to pickup call.
Does anyone have a roadmap for these HID integrations?
Looking forward to trying the release when Jabra compatibility is implemented!
