Yealink T85W Expansion Module Tab

We are moving our clients to Yealink T85W since T54W are EOL. When I built the template in provisioning I noticed it doesn’t have a expansion module tab. We would really love to have the expansion module tab.

Yealink T85W uses EXP55 color expansion module.

Please and Thank You!

We need this as soon as possible please!

Yes, please!! This is a must!!

This would be an enormous help.

Use the new upvote feature here, please.

It’s small on the top left.

More upvotes, better chances.

I was able to do a work around by manually modifying the provisioning.phone_models under the expansion_module_keys column as well as updating the wallpaper column from 0 to 1.

I would be careful updating anything inside of the database manually unless you know what you’re doing especially on a production pbx.

Thanks, that is the workaround I’m currently aware of. However, only me and one other person at our company have permission to manually update the database and template codes. It would save us a lot of time if the VitalPBX team could add a dedicated expansion module tab to the T85W template so our other team members will have access to update from the tab instead of reaching out to me to update the template code anytime our clients have name changes. We have over 1,000 yealink devices deployed and 4 multi tenant pbx’s. Me and my other coworker would never have time to work on anything else if we are constantly updating names and extensions on the template provisioning code as we prepare to start replacing the EOL devices with T85W. :face_with_spiral_eyes:

Hello, thank you for the feedback.

We’ll add the expansion module for the next release

You are a rockstar Roger! We really appreciate you and the Vital PBX team. Thank you!
