What Would Cause Calls To Drop At 15 Minutes

Hi

Using VitalPBX and everything is working well accept when an outgoing call hits the 15 minute mark the call seems to hang up.

Checking the logs just shows BRIDGE_EXIT and then at the same time stamp HANGUP

Any ideas what might be causing this.

Usually this is a Router / Firewall / SIP ALG issue.

15 Minutes is mostly session-timers. To refuse it could help but is not recommended.
Better check the router / firewall.

Seems to occur at multiple different sites connecting to the Vital PBX that we have hosted in the cloud.

So assuming the issue is related to the configuration of VitalPBX.

All are using PJSIP Port 5060

The VitalPBX firewall is enabled with country blocking setup to block all countries besides the USA and the country all the devices are connecting from.

No firewall should be enabled on the cloud as is turned off and just the VitalPBX firewall is being used.

DHCP is disabled in VitalPBX

In the Nat Settings have the External Media Address set as the servers IP address.

And the same for External Signal Address but nothing else set besides the default settings.

Also in RTP settings have nothing set besides the default P start port as 10000 and end port as 20000

But nothing set for STUN settings or in the ICE Host Settings.

Let me know where else I should be checking.

Further testing is showing any call that goes for longer than 15 minutes that the call is staying connected but the callers can’t hear each other so no sound and then after waiting awhile someone will hang up and call back and then the exact same thing happens in another 15 minutes

Try testing with the external media ip addresses taken out in the PJSIP Settings Nat, on V4 using PJSIP I have seen this issue as well as issues with Parking on Yealink phones with the addresses added.
