WebRTC moves Vmails from new to old

Voicemails are being moved to old after they are opened even though the extension setting is set to not do this.

Additionally, old vmails in WebRTC cannot be listened to after they are moved to old without refreshing the browser… but when the browser is refreshed, the agent is logged out of their call queues.

The settings on Extensions applied when listening to voicemail via the Phone by dialing the Voicemail feature code.

Regarding your other issue, that is something that the development team will analyze.

Best regards,

I updated to WebRTC 4.2.0.0.
Our voice mails still goto Old box after we listen to them.
I no longer see the option for auto move VMs from new to old?
Do we need to change a configuration to make this work?
thx

Hello,

This is the expected behavior: when a voicemail that is in the “new” or “urgent” category is listened to, it will be moved to “old.” This is how the PBX handles voicemails and their location in directories.

Best regards,

OK … much much better with this WebRTC release.

My customer is reporting that vmail deletes are not working properly though. This may have been an issue in the previous Viti client too. They report that when they have several vmails and select a vmail for deletion, it sometimes deletes the wrong one. Also reported was if they pick one, it deleted all of them (from old mailbox).
