- Advanced ICE Server Settings (Relay Only):
Added support for “Relay Only” (Force TURN) transport policy.
What is “Relay Only”?
Forces all media traffic through a TURN server instead of peer-to-peer. Ideal for restrictive networks or symmetric NAT environments.
- Automated Call & Message Routing:
The manual “App vs SIP” selection has been removed. VitXi now automatically detects the destination—routing internal VitXi users through the application, and extensions or external numbers via SIP. - Rich Text Messaging (Internal Conversations):
Internal chats between VitXi users now support rich text features, including bold, italic, lists, and tables, enabling clearer and more structured communication. - Internal Call History Engine:
VitXi now maintains its own call history database, enabling faster UI updates and supporting advanced features like call notes and future AI capabilities. - Call Notes:
Add and persist notes directly within call history for improved tracking. - Call Maintenance Module (Super Admins):
New data retention controls allow you to define how long call records are stored. Older data is automatically cleaned up daily to keep the system optimized. - Enhanced Caller Identification (SIP Headers):
Support for P-Asserted-Identity and Remote-Party-ID improves caller name detection, even during early call states. - Smart Contact Resolution:
Incoming and outgoing numbers are automatically matched against personal contacts and PBX phonebooks to display names and avatars. - Quick-Add Contacts:
Save new numbers instantly to your contacts directly from the chat interface.
