6001 - spot on. Thanks. Not sure how I missed that.
The link from within VitalPBX (under logged in username) works and phone is registered. The Windows VitXi app shows unregistered using the same login, all the details are there and seem to match the browser setting. Is there a different setting for that?
Currently, the desktop application is not compatible with the recent changes made in the backend/server. However, the web version can be installed as if it were a native desktop application: Install as Desktop App - VitalPBX Wiki
