We’re excited to announce VitXi 4.6.0-5 , introducing Jabra SDK integration , a new centralized Phonebooks administration module, and issue fixes.

:headphone: Jabra SDK Integration

VitXi now includes native integration with the Jabra SDK , allowing compatible Jabra headsets to seamlessly control calls directly from the device.

Supported actions

  • Answer calls
  • Reject calls
  • Answer calls while undocking the headset
  • Hold and resume calls
  • Swap between active calls
  • Mute and unmute the microphone
  • Trigger base station ringing for incoming calls

A new Phonebooks administration module has been added, making it easier to centrally manage shared phonebooks across VitXi users.

What’s New

  • New centralized Phonebooks administration module.
  • Assign phonebooks to All Users, Groups, or Individual Users.
  • Cleaner grouped view that prevents duplicate PBX phonebook entries.
  • New Manage Assignments action for configuring visibility.
  • New View Contacts action to browse PBX phonebook contacts.
  • Added visibility summary to quickly see who has access to each phonebook.
  • Fully backward compatible with existing phonebook assignments.
  • Multi-tenant aware.

Issue Fixes

  • Fixed an issue where the unread chat message badge count was not updating correctly.

The new Phonebooks module has been designed with future expansion in mind. While this release supports PBX phonebooks, future versions will introduce support for additional phonebook sources , providing even greater flexibility for managing corporate contacts.
