I thought I would add this as a new request for the simplification of the VitalPBX Connect App provisioning process. I see that the app connects to the VitalPBX Cloud which gathers information obviously from your VitalPBX Server when you check the Mobile Client to On.
My Request is to make this a bit better than the 3CX App auto provisioning. With the following:
- Add Mobile Client to the provisioning section to create a template which details:
- Address book URL to push to Mobile.
- Make a DSS Keys / Soft Key section where you can push Extensions, Nightmode overrides to the quick dial section
- In the extensions editing window, next to the Mobile Client on/off switch add a drop down list of the possible Mobile Client templates from provisioning.
When the mobile client connects to the VitalPBX cloud, you can use the cloud to proxy this information from the PBX to the Client, and then have the app use the template provided and autopopulate these area’s.
This would be a way more functional app and apply the KISS principal when dealing with a number of clients. It’s one of the issues we have with migrating people away from 3CX, the mobile app is a BIG functionality of what they want, and keeping it simple is the best way to drive up sales for this platform.
