Hello, when I scan the login code I get an error: Error downloading external provisioning. I have the IPs open and forwarded correctly, what could this be?
That error doesn’t come from our servers. That means the blockage comes from your current network env.
Try scanning the QR but using the Phone LTE Network instead of the Wifi.
Hello,
I’ve already tested this from multiple external networks, including LTE/mobile data, so it does not appear to be a local network issue on my side.
On the MikroTik firewall I have:
- forwarded ports 3500–3501 correctly,
- added your IP addresses to the whitelist,
- verified external access from different internet connections.
I also occasionally receive the message:
“Global external provisioning error”
Because of this, I suspect the issue may be related to the provisioning service itself, authentication, or communication between the device and your provisioning servers rather than the firewall/NAT configuration.
Could you please check if there are any server-side issues or if there are additional ports/domains that must be allowed?
How do you have the Connect module configured in your main tenant? Also, is your server behind a firewall? And if so, are all the services and ports forwarded to your server properly? And do you have a valid SSL certificate enabled on your server? I think there is something missing on your server setup and configuration, or possibly your router/firewall if you’re using a standalone unit in front of your server.
