VitalPBX Connect Alternate Registration Port

Using VPBX v4.5.3-4. We have been trying to coax the connect app to use a different registration port (we’re doing PAT at our NAT edge), there is a “Registration Port” setting along with Prov/Reg domains on the “VPBX Connect Settings” screen. We have the same port we’re trying also set under PJSIP Settings as the external port.

Connect app registration functions as designed, however the app appears to ignore the port specified and only tried to bind on 5061. Inspecting the inbound traffic confirms this. Checking the sip headers, we can see that PJSIP is properly indicating it’s reply port once the registration occurs on 5061, however we are closing 5061 and this will not continue to function.

FWIW we are only using VPBX Connect externally, we have the RTP, 3500-3501 for API prov, and our alternate SIP port specified as indicated above. We use a dedicated VPBX Connect device profile and discrete extension devices for the mobile app.

We have applied the settings, clicked the reload, and even blown away the mobile device, rebooted, re-created the extension and re-provisioned via QR multiple times…it seems to only want to register inbound on 5061.

The “Registration Port” setting is not listed in the online help. Thoughts?
