I have a business case where callers need to be redirected to specific external extensions when they call. To explain this better, we are trying to link service providers to clients. When the clients call in, I want the PBX to inquire from my CRM who the service provider is (this information is dynamic, not static) and then transfer/forward the call to that external number.
I can achieve this manually by creating the extensions of the service providers and then creating dynamic destination records for each client/service provider. Please let me know if there is a better way to do this.
Because of the sheer number of clients we are expecting, we would like to automate the steps above. However, the API documentation below does not show an API endpoint for creating and managing extensions and dynamic destinations. What can I do to achieve my objectives?
