Hi,

I have a Multitenant system that was running on 3.0 and was asked to migrate to 4.0

On a multitenant environment is not easy to “tweak” the settings when multiple customers have different settings , I need a way to create Standard SIP peers in 4.0, going back to 3.0 don’t feel is a good answer, The arguments of CHAN_SIP will be removed by asterisk and creating confusion, I don’t feel are good arguments, , when CHAN_SIP gets removed, then we can act on it, but there is no a date for that yet, and about confusion , I guess the comment is not necessary at all

Please let me know how I can add CHAN_SIP in 4.0

ChanSIP has been deprecated.

I don’t feel are good arguments, , when CHAN_SIP gets removed, then we can act on it, but there is no a date for that yet

ChanSIP has been removed from v21.

If you import a backup from V3 in V4 it will be chan_sip.

But not for new devices. They will be pjsip.
I thought chan_sip is life. But it’s not.
Pjsip is great. Own it!
