Unable to answer call if already on call.

So if Im on the phone and the phone starts ringing with a new call. I can’t put current person on hold or even just answer new call. If I let it ring a few times then phone shows the Answer Reject etc buttons.
We would like to be able to hangup on current call. or at least have option to answer on first ring instead of waiting for a few rings. Please advice. We are currently using GXP2170 phones VitalPBX 3.x incoming calls are to a Ring Group that rings all phones.

This a feature that phones come with! The phone itself should give you an option to answer the call.
