Any providers that are now required to attest their own outbound calls know of a certificate provider that isn’t thousands per year? I am a one man operation and up to now Telnyx has provided attestation for all my 20+ servers, and I am questioning if I want to do this anymore.
Telonium is the cheapest I think. It’s $500/yr I believe and you can purchase a 2 year certificate for $1000. STIR/SHAKEN Certificate Authority - Telonium
These regulations are getting so hard to keep up with. I spoke with Frank at Telonium and he was very helpful. Still going through the process but I recommend contacting them and speaking with them. They’ll help guide you through the process.
If you don’t already have an OCN get that moving Company Codes (OCNs) | NECA. It took me a little over a week to get the OCN.
Much appreciated, and it is as I have suspected. My operation is small enough though that the cost of an OCN and now this regulation makes me want to pass my business on to someone more established. It’s only been a side gig for me the last 10 years, and while keeping up with the regulations has been a fun challenge, now it’s just getting time-consuming.
