SMS Ignore Devices (Again)

This was initially requested nearly 3 years ago, and it was unceremoniously closed. So asking again…

Now that VitXi has evolved and is workable with SMS texting, it has become more important to have this feature or control.

We need to be able to control whether an SMS/Text gets delivered to a desktop phone or not.

99% of our folks do not like this. It is extremely disruptive. The practice of responding to texts is a trip back to the 90’s on a 10-digit keypad. Let’s turn this off please, ESPECIALLY if the user or endpoint is also using VitXi.

If it helps at all, our VitXi users are configured as their own Device Profile in the user settings, thus the separation layer is already in place for determining which device (or credentials) get the SMS.
