Secure SIP trunk limitation and question

Hi,

I would like to setup a secure SIP trunk with a local telco via the public internet. Is there any limitation on the VitalPBX for such integration?

Also, the telco has provided me their SSL cert and also the Cipher Suite list. I tried to check in the VitalPBX but couldn’t find where to import the telco’s cert and also define the Cipher Suite. Does it means VitalPBX does not support TLS SIP trunk?

The telco also requested my VitalPBX SSL cert to send to them. Base on my understanding with other SBC products, we do not need to provide the SBC cert to the integration party. Do correct me if my understanding is incorrect.

Any advices are highly appreciated.

Thanks.

No there isn’t.

Just be aware that this will utilize more resources on your server as every PSTN call will need to be encrypted/decrypted.

VitalPBX does support.

Can you please share the documentation of your vendor?

Perhaps they want the CA you use for your SSL? Sometimes certain UAS will do a CA check.
