Required certification course?

Today, I received an email from VitalPBX stating there is a new certification course that is required for us to maintain “partner status”. I’m not entirely sure what this means, as I did not know we were in any sort of “partner status” as a company.

Furthermore, the email itself contains links that do not work. So, in other words, it is impossible for me to register to this ostensibly required class/course. Can we get some clarity here as to whether or not this is legitimate (not a spam email as I suspect) or what is happening here?

You have received this email since you registered to become a Partner with VitalPBX. This Certification Course is to ensure our Partners have all the knowledge about VitalPBX with the latest features. This will also give you the Certified Partner badge on our website, we will give you a Certified Partner badge you can provide to your customers, as well as a certificate for your business and the person you enroll.

Please send us an email to sales@vitalpbx.com, as we are prioritizing Partner enrollment to this course.

I noticed the email and website is calling this a VitalPBX 4.5 training course. Is this some upcoming major release of VitalPBX? We are currently on 4.1.0r9 so that seems quite a jump. Is there somewhere we can see the details about 4.5 for people who can’t make it to the training (we are in GMT+08:00 so getting people available on a weeks notice is kinda complicated)
