I am migrating from another platform (Mirta PBX) and one of the features is continuous replication between geographically separate nodes and interconnectivity (i.e. phones from a single tenant can register to different servers and features work seamlessly).
I don’t need the interconnectivity, but it is useful to have more than one node that is replicated continuously. Sometimes Internet congestion becomes an issue and swapping a tenant’s phones from one node to the other often resolves it.
I do not need the HA as I use DNS to move users between the nodes, and the nodes are located in physically different locations.
Is this a feasible configuration with VitalPBX? I see the HA instructions use DRBD to replicate - could I get that far and stop at some step in the process?
