Recording external to external calls

Hi,
I am able to setup all my extensions to record calls. I also have the maintenance plugin to delete old recordings.

How do I record a call that comes from an external number and immediately gets routed to another external number. I can see the call data in the CDR reports but can’t figure out how to record it too.

You can enable the call recordings at the Inbound Routes level. Do these calls pass through the inbound routes?
