I know Pi support is now discontinued,
but looking to find which pi os version allows install of vitalppbx.
on following the quick guide all goes well but then fails
tried various versions of 64bit bullseye but not getting the vitalpx splash screen in command window.
this isnt for production but for lab test purposes would be great if someone knew which version works
could it be vitalpbx has deleted some files from script download or is it a specific version needed.
many thanks in advance
anyone got still got vitalpbx running on Pi4, with any help on which version they are using?
I’m pretty sure this is due to ioncube support on ARM so ARM devices are no longer supported.
I think VitalPBX 4.2.0 R4 still works on Raspberry Pi 4 but haven’t tried it. This question has come up a lot recently but I haven’t seen any clear answers aside from it’s not supported anymore. So if you do try this and get 4.2.0 R4 working on RPi 4 it’d be good to let others know.
Hi Thanks for the info, i was wondering if you knew which Pi OS is the best to download, 32bit or 64bit.
tried various versions of bullseye but not sure if i need a specific relase date or version.
scripts are doing there thing but on reboot the Vitalpbx logo in command window not showing which makes me believe its not installing correctly.
thanks
Sorry I really don’t know but if it helps I’m running 4.2 on Debian 11 64-bit.
Looks like the install scripts are here Index of /vitalpbx/v4/apt.
I’d run through install of the various packages mentioned in there and see what’s failing.
hi thanks for link.
sorry bit new to all this linux , what do i do with these files.copy to usb ad try to run from usb??
any instructions would be helpful
I’d copy and paste each line from the install script to run them one by one. Then see which line breaks.
Honestly it’d be best just to run the latest version on supported hardware. It’s probably not worth the time to get an older version working on hardware that’s no longer supported.
