Not able to activate trial license

Hello

I recently got a trial license for VitalPBX and installed it on Digital Ocean droplet for testing. Installation went smoothly and I didn’t get any errors during installation. I followed this guide for installation (How To Install A PBX System In 2024 With VitalPBX 4.0)

But I am not able to register the license.

I get stuck at ‘Register the installation’. After entering all the details, it just does not respond and stalls.

When I try to ‘Register License’

I get this Error

When I try to create extension, I get this error

Can you please help ?

It seems your installation is corrupted and is missing some migrations. I would recommend reinstalling.

These are the settings that I use for testing machines. Make sure to select Debian 11

I selected same options but Regular SSD and not Premium AMD

I will spin up new droplet and let you know how it goes.

Register Installation is still stalling but when I try to activate the license I get error : “You have reached the maximum number of activations allowed for the provided license”

For the installation registration, if this is not your first installation, just select “I already have an account” and provide your e-mail address.

About the license, try again!

I tried ‘I already have Account’ and that’s too stalling.

I did get an Auto email " VitalPBX Carrier Plus: Activation Successful" but still no license it applied on the VitalPBX admin portal.

Kind of weird!

List the files inside /var/lib/ and check the permissions for the folder pbx-licenses.

Did the server automatically reboot after finishing the installation?

Yes, it did, but when I login to console I don’t see this “Once the system reboots, you can log in again using the root user. You are now greeted with a VitalPBX Logo and system information.”

I tried it on vultr as it has VitalPBX 4 in the marketplace. I was able to register the installation and it automatically updated itself too.

Do i need new trial license or previous license will work?
