MWI Subscribe returns 404 not found

Hello,

I have some older SIP devices that are only capable of getting MWI via a SUBSCRIBE. However, if the device tries to do a SUBSCRIBE, I get a 404 Not Found when it tries to do a SUBSCRIBE. I’ve used this same phone on other systems with chan_pjsip and it can do a SUBSCRIBE just fine on there.

Is there something I need to add under the extension or device profile parameters for it to do a SUBSCRIBE successfully?

You have to enable “Generate Hint” in the voicemail tab of the extension, and the phone should subscribe to vm_extension (i.e. vm_101 for extension 101).
