How to switch a Single Tenant to Multi Tenant?

Hi,

i want to switch from a Single Tenant on Premise installation to a Multi Tenant installation in the cloud.

What is best practice on this?

Hi,

  1. Make fresh installation in cloud.
  2. Install all the add-on those were installed on on-Premise installation.
  3. Restore the back-up from on Premise to your new cloud installation.
  4. Now activate the new cloud installation with Subscription plan which supports multi-Tenant ( VitalPBX - Advanced PBX System | PBX Plans And Pricing )
  5. After the activation, install multi-tenant addon,
  6. Once the add-on is installed, refresh the PBX webpage which will show multi-Tenant tab under Admin.

Thanks but the backup will be then in the main tenant, right?

Other idea:
What if I export extensions and import them again?

You may do that but under multi-tenant the extension will have additional prefix in front of existing extension number.
