I’m having another issue of “follow me” not dialing external numbers. it is trying to dial a number as a local extension.

Can you please share a screenshot of your dial patterns from our outbound route? Looks like there’s no pattern that allow this number to be called.
This only allows you to place calls with caller ID 100.
Any incoming call will use the external caller ID, so there’s no matching pattern right now.
i have two extensions ID 100 and 200 each having the same outbound rules. but each extension uses a different trunk
I understood what you meant, will try adding a rule for external IDs
You can leave the CID field blank, so it will match everything.

If you need to use different outbound routes for different extensions you can use Class Of Service and it’s Route Selection.
