The system we are moving from has an Emergency Routing function where it monitors nominated extensions and if it sees that they are all offline with no active registrations, it assumes a internet outage or power outage and it automatically routes to a nominated behaviour, could be diverting to a mobile, going to a voicemail, or another ring group at another location. It also triggers an email to notify that the system has gone into emergency routing.
Similarly, when it sees those extensions register again, it automatically turns off and goes back to normal programming.
This is something our customers have come to rely on and we would so love to see if built for Vital.
I would love to see this as well.
