/var/lib/asterisk/sounds/en/custom/ - is a folder
rec-custom.wav - is a file

Dial Profile, in
Allow Park By

Recipient
Ringback Tone

None (Ringback)
Call Screening

Disabled, Custom Options we set: TtA(custom/rec-custom)

This will play file, but it will not be included in recording. so there are 2 parts
announcement + operator conversation
so client hers announcement after it connects to caller

official Asterisk manual says:

  • A(x:y) - Play an announcement to the called and/or calling parties, where x is the prompt to be played to the called party and y is the prompt to be played to the caller. The files may be different and will be played to each party simultaneously.
    • x - The file to play to the called party
    • y - The file to play to the calling party

so by this logic command must beTtA(custom/rec-custom:custom/rec-custom)

Maybe VitalPBX Gui does not accept: TtA(custom/rec-custom:custom/rec-custom)

Main point is to:

  1. when outgoing call is done announce to Client “Your call is being recorded, if you don’t agree please hang up the line”
  2. after he connects to caller agent
  3. recording only starts after connect to caller agent, so “Your call is bein…” is not included

This makes legal issues because, we have no prove un such cases that file was recorded and user agreed

Update: command to play for both is:

ktrktrTtAaA(custom/rec-custom:custom/rec-custom)

but announcement still not included to recording file

Did anyone found how to play outgoing call announcement (for client and good if for caller also) and also include it into recording ?
