clear down on external call

we have a V4 Vital PBX which has a trunk connected from 4PSA/VoIP Now ext.
when making a call on that trunk from SIP ext to an external cell number and we terminate the call the cell phone continues to ring and the call is not cleared on 4PSA so assume Vital is not sending a correct termination.
this is our first testing on a non production Vital PBX.
is there a setting in Vital that will allow variation of the info on termination of a call to clear down with 4PSA.
