Call recording repeatedly start and stop

Current version: VitalPBX Enterprise 3.2.4-3

User reported on a 14 minute call it only recorded 3 minutes of it. Looking at the log, I see the call recording start and stop three times. My first gut reaction is the user was trying to pause the recording by doing a *3 unaware it doesn’t work that way. Has anyone seen this?

Maybe call transfer?
