I’m in the process of setting up an VitalPbx instance. I’m tring to find out if it is possible to block an entire range of phone numbers? We’re getting regular calls from ‘the microsoft helpdesk’ and others similar scammers using non-existant phone numbers as CID, mostly using the same prefix (eg 041xxyyzz, 042aabbcc, etc…).
With our previous system, I could send all those numbers to voicemail using a wildcard…
So am I correct:
let’s say I want to perform an action on all incoming calls starting with 041xxyyzz.
I create an inbound rule in VitapPBX, where the CID pattern contains the expression “041.”?
