Announcements sound file

Hi everybody,

I’m new user with VitalPBX (V3 latest) , and I try to use “announcement” sound file.
All “sub menu” announcement are empty.

So I have some questions about it (no information on this forum or handbook) :

  • Where to upload file on GUI ?
  • if not available on GUI , which directory , which “name” format should I use ?
  • Which format ? (WAV 8K , MONO ,16Bits ?)

You can upload the recordings using the Record Managements module. See Wiki link.

We recommend mp3 format, it can also be Mono 16Bits wav format

Would be great to have a link to recording management at the announcements.
