We prefer using the database to store info. With plain text files, the data needs to be rotated, and the historical info gets lost.
Yes, it doesn’t matter if it is saved to the database, it’s also a good idea to save it to a text file. By default disable write to files. But we can enable it.
We have applications that depends on that, so, we cannot change the storing method.
Hope you understand the reason why we cannot implement this.
