# Vitalpbx 4.5 audio playback to fast

I find the voicemail prompts way to fast, you need to slow down the playback of menu options even if it’s only a half second between options, as it currently is a demo to a new customer will not be well received.

Log in to your mailbox and hit 0 for options, it’s noticeably faster than before, even the first menu is fast. Maybe I’m being to picky.

Maybe because of the missing Silence Audio Folder?

Tested on new installation. All voice IVRs are quite fast like \*70, \*72 or others.
Yes, this could be due to missing silence audo.

Upgraded to 4.5.0-2 this did not solve issue with prompts, did the missing silence folder not get corrected with this update.
This is not production ready with the voicemail prompts sounding like they do.

Echo test audio intro is still bad.
When leaving a message, it says: ‘when done, press pound key’. It is missing ‘press _the_ pound key’

I know this is a cosmetic issue, but it is super unprofessional having customers complain about this.

This was an issue for me for so long I moved most of my customers to FS-pbx, it’s a learning curve but well worth it, Freeswitch is a great voip system and FS-pbx is a new and upcomming gui interface.

I’ve been seeing this thread but I haven’t noticed the issue on our system except for the fact that the default recordings sound pretty bad but not too fast.
Since all of my endpoints are using g722 I did get the default asterisk g722 sound files which improved the quaity quite a bit. Night mode activated/deactivated _really_ bothers me though.
I recreated a lot of prompts using elevenlabs but haven’t completed it since some scenarios were more complex as I started digging in to it. If anybody’s interested in helping out with making a sound file pack let me know.
