# Install Wizard Sonata Billing

Hello, I am trying to install Sonata Billing, but I am using an external mysql database, when adding it the connection data tells me "Errors Found  
**Access Denied: Invalid database credentials "**

However I tried to connect by console and it works correctly

EDIT: okay you want to use an external database. I don’t know if this is possible. I bet you need to have at least some default tables for billing in your database.

leave everything default:  
host: localhost  
User: root  
Password: leave empty

Yes, I need install the databse in other server.

The logical thing would be to allow it, but for the host field to come, if any Vitalpbx staff would clarify the doubt, I would appreciate it.

The Sonata Billing isn’t prepared to work with remote databases; this is a feature we expect to implement in the future, but we don’t have an ETA.
